Men’s Color-Block Leather V-Bomber Jacket
Lavender, Ivory and Charcoal Down Outerwear with Graphic V-Paneling
The Men’s Color-Block Leather V-Bomber Jacket turns the recognizable Goose Country silhouette into a high-contrast winter statement. Charcoal gray-brown leather forms the main body, while lavender shoulder sections and wide ivory chevrons create a layered geometric pattern across the front and back.
A removable ivory fox fur collar, padded leather body and 70/30 goose-down insulation complete its cold-weather construction. This distinctive colorway joins our full Goose Country V-Bomber assortment.
Color Story
The shell combines three coordinated tones rather than primary colors. Its base appears charcoal gray with a subtle taupe-brown undertone, the upper panels are soft lavender, and the contrast bands are creamy ivory rather than bright optical white. The fur collar follows the same warm ivory palette.
This combination gives the jacket a retro ski-inspired and vintage streetwear character while retaining a traditional waist-length bomber shape. For more understated alternatives, explore our broader men’s bomber edit.

Front Architecture
Lavender leather begins across the upper chest and shoulders before meeting in a sharp point beside the zipper. A broad ivory band follows underneath, producing a double-chevron effect that directs attention toward the center of the jacket.
Charcoal leather covers the lower body and sleeves. Both hand pockets are positioned along diagonal seam lines and finished with round antique-brass-tone snaps. A small red rectangular logo tab above one pocket adds a controlled branded accent.
The joined leather sections rely on clean panel edges and topstitched seams rather than raised cord piping. Our panel-seaming and leatherwork guide explains the construction details worth examining when comparing leather outerwear.
Back Geometry
The rear layout mirrors the front while giving the color blocking a wider visual scale. A pointed charcoal yoke sits below the collar, followed by a lavender V and a larger ivory chevron. Each section meets along a straight center-back seam for symmetrical alignment.
The charcoal lower panel extends toward the ivory rib-knit waistband, while the padded sleeves remain predominantly charcoal. This arrangement keeps the strongest contrast across the shoulders and upper back without making the entire garment visually busy.
Patch Placement
A triangular black-and-white emblem patch appears on the upper sleeve. The artwork is intentionally compact and functions as a heritage-style outerwear badge rather than a large graphic panel. Additional red branding appears at the inner neck and beside the angled front pocket.
No red diamond or Batman-style graphic appears on this particular jacket. Its exterior identity comes from the lavender-and-ivory chevrons, triangular sleeve emblem and small red logo details.
Thermal Use
Collar attached: The oversized fox fur trim adds coverage around the neck and lower face, while the down-filled body provides insulated volume through the torso and sleeves.
Collar removed: Detaching the fur produces a cleaner neckline and reduces warmth around the neck without changing the jacket’s padded body construction. Personal comfort will still depend on wind, humidity, activity, layering and fit.
Down is widely used in insulated outerwear because of its warmth-to-weight and loft characteristics. Textile Exchange provides an independent explanation of how down insulation and loft are evaluated. This educational reference does not indicate that this product carries RDS certification.
Sizing Approach
This is an intentionally padded bomber with generous visual volume through the chest, shoulders and sleeves. The ivory rib-knit waistband gathers the body at the hips, while the matching cuffs bring the sleeves inward at the wrists.
Compare the garment’s chest, shoulder, sleeve and body-length measurements with a similar jacket you already own. Include the thickness of your intended winter layers and review our garment-measurement chart before ordering.
Care Notes
- Leather panels: Dust with a soft dry cloth and use a leather specialist for stains or complete cleaning.
- Ivory fur: Detach before treating the shell; shake gently and air-dry away from sunlight or direct heat.
- Down fill: Avoid prolonged compression and gently restore the loft after storage.
- Satin lining: Blot small marks carefully without saturating the fabric.
- Light-colored ribbing: Protect from dye transfer and avoid excessive stretching.
- Metal fittings: Remove moisture from the zipper and snaps before storage.
- Sleeve emblem: Do not scrub, iron or apply conditioner directly over the patch.
Store the jacket on a broad hanger inside a breathable garment cover. Do not machine wash, bleach, tumble dry or place near a radiator. See our leather preservation handbook for additional guidance.
Customer Questions
Is the main body gray or brown?
The primary leather is best described as charcoal gray-brown or dark taupe. Warm studio lighting may emphasize its brown undertone, while cooler lighting can make it appear more gray.
Are the lavender and ivory sections printed?
No. They appear to be separate leather panels joined into the front and back chevron construction rather than a surface print applied over the charcoal shell.
What is positioned on the upper sleeve?
The upper sleeve carries a compact triangular black-and-white emblem patch. It provides a heritage badge detail without dominating the three-color design.
Do the light collar and ribbing require extra attention?
Yes. Ivory components can show dirt and dark dye transfer more readily. Keep them away from unwashed dark fabrics and use qualified leather or fur specialists when deeper cleaning is required.
Where should the ribbed hem sit?
The jacket is designed to finish around the waist or upper hip, depending on the wearer’s torso length. Check the listed body length against an existing bomber before selecting your size.
